Visiting Ph.D. Student from Xi’an Jiaotong University
Zhigang Ye was a visiting Ph.D. student from Xi’an Jiaotong University, Xi’an, China. He received his B.S. degree in electrical engineering (EE) from Xi’an Jiaotong University, Xi’an, China, in 2013. Currently, he is pursuing his Ph.D. degree in EE at Xi’an Jiaotong University. He was also a visiting Ph.D. student at Power System Automation Laboratory, the Department of Electrical and Computer Engineering, Texas A&M University, supervised by Dr. Karen Butler-Purry, from October 2016 to July 2017. From August 2017 to September 2018, he will work on resilient planning and operation of distribution systems at Argonne National Laboratory. His research interests include asset management, reliability, as well as resilience of electric power systems.
